President’s Update

• Plans are rolling along to start our year off right. IACAC Leaders will convene in Bloomington-Normal for our Leadership Development Institute on Sunday, September 8th and our first Exec Board Meeting of the year on Monday, September 9th. We have lots on the agenda this year, which I look forward to sharing with all of you as things move along.
• Our NACAC Summer LDI was packed with information, ideas, collaboration, and planning. It was a pleasure to have time with the Presidents from other States and Affiliates but it was especially rewarding to have time with Patrick and Megan. IACAC is in great hands and I am privileged to work with such smart, thoughtful, and funny people!
• The news from NACAC regarding the Department of Justice Inquiry was just rolled out. Our Delegates and all NACAC Members have to cast vital votes at this year’s conference. I’m certain we will rise above this challenge and stay strong together.
