NACAC Hill Day made possible by a Professional Development Grant

My trip to D.C. was fantastic. I am very thankful I was able to experience the NACAC Hill Day this year. I learned so many things from the presenters, training, and connections with other members on the NACAC side and other affiliates in regards to national issues/legislation affecting our profession.

Everyone was so welcoming, and did a wonderful job guiding me through the meetings with our legislators. This experience is one I will remember for a long time, and it really showed me that as counselors and admissions officers, we can make our voice heard and build relationships with our local officials. I highly recommend attending NACAC Hill Day and/or IACAC Advocacy Day.

I’m incredibly thankful to the Professional Development Grants committee for making my attendance at this event possible.
