This Session Changed the Way We Operate

2016 was my first time attending the IACAC Conference. I couldn’t have been more impressed by the quality and quantity of the individual sessions. I brought a wealth of information back with me. The session entitled Reimagine the Experience was the highlight for me, especially as a new director of admission at Illinois Valley Community College. The observations and ideas put forth by Brian Nils from TargetX, Trent Gilbert from Monmouth College, and Meghan Cooley from Augustana College will change the way we operate at IVCC; we need to refocus on new methods to reach millennials (and their parents) rather than holding on to outdated practices.

Many thanks to IACAC for the grant. Without it, I would not have been able to attend this incredible event. I look forward to many more years of attending in the future!
