Anne Kremer appointed President-Elect Pro Tempore
As most of you are probably aware, Sacha Thieme has accepted a position with Indiana University. Therefore she has turned in her resignation as President-Elect of IACAC. After much thought and many phone calls and emails, it is with great pleasure that I announce the new President-Elect Pro Tem, Anne Kremer, Associate Director of Undergraduate Admission at DePaul University.
For those of you who know Anne, I’m sure you will agree that we are very fortunate to have her step forward and take over for Sacha. IACAC will be in great hands. Anne will serve as President-Elect until the Membership meeting at conference in May. There is no guarantee that she will be slated for President at that time; that will be a decision for our Nominations Committee and Annie to make at a future date.
For those of you who don’t know Anne, here is a brief summary of her IACAC involvement. Anne has served on the following committees: Nominations, Credentials, Summer Institute, First Timers’ Luncheon, Mentorship, Government Relations, and Middle Management Institute. While on those committees, she has served as chairperson for the First Timers’ Luncheon, Mentorship, Government Relations, and the Middle Management Institute. She has also served as the Executive Board Liaison for the Government Relations Committee. Within NACAC she has also served as a delegate to the NACAC Conference for the past three years and most recently served as IACAC Chief Delegate for the conference. As you can see, she has been involved in many areas and on many levels with IACAC, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her position.
I am looking forward to working with Anne, and I am confident she will help keep IACAC moving forward.
Mike Dunker
