IACAC members are counselors, admission or financial aid officers, active retirees, or students who are concerned about the future of education in the State of Illinois and in the nation.

NACAC Next Program

IACAC invites you to apply for an exciting national leadership development opportunity offered by NACAC. The application is now open for NACAC NEXT, a one-year leadership development program. Each year, a cohort of participants will convene in-person on Thursday morning during the NACAC Conference. NEXT participants will also join virtual quarterly sessions throughout the year focused on leadership topics, presented by NACAC staff and affiliate leaders from ACACs across the country.

IACAC supports and advances the work of counselors as they help students realize their full educational potential, with particular emphasis on the transition from secondary schools to colleges and universities and with attention to access and equality for all students.
